Timezone-Era Dawns for Chatswood and Haymarket
Chatswood & Haymarket: If a change is as good as a holiday, then the communities of Chatswood and Haymarket are in for a permanent fun-cation! Timezone Chatswood and Timezone Haymarket are two beautiful new family entertainment centres being revamped; both venues are closed for renovation and reopening early July. These two venues are the final two standalone Playtime stores in New South Wales that will be converted to the iconic Timezone brand as part of the TEEG family of Family Entertainment Centres (best not to use acronyms in press releases).
“While change always brings a certain amount of trepidation, Playtime fans can rest assured that Timezone Chatswood And Haymarket will surpass all their expectations.” says Kane Fong, General Manager of Timezone and Zone Bowling Australia. “We recognise our guests’ eagerness for cutting-edge games and memorable, exciting entertainment. The new Timezone venue reconfirms Timezone’s core commitment of offering fun, inclusive entertainment experiences that guests of all ages can share with their family and friends”
The revamped venues will both boast a modern contemporary design, filled with the bright colours and clever lighting that Timezone’s family friendly spaces are renowned for. The range of arcade games and interactive entertainment attractions will be updated to offer loads of cutting-edge arcade games and fun options for the whole family; whether you’re a dad challenging your daughter to a dance-off, friends bonding over a game of Daytona or a couple on the hunt for the perfect first-date plushie.
Timezone Chatswood forms part of Westfield Chatswood’s buzzing entertainment hub and adds clout to the entertainment offering for the greater Chatswood community. It is situated close to the cinemas and the restaurants on level 6. Timezone guests can thus play their hearts out and then fuel up for more energy.
Timezone Haymarket is set to add loads of sass to the cool inner-city vibes that reign supreme in Market City. Get ready for the latest and greatest in interactive entertainment options, including bumper cars that will knock your socks off! Don’t forget an epic dance stage to keep up those fitness regimes. This iconic venue is close to a range of delicious foodie options, making it easy to keep your energy levels up for more play.
Both new Timezone venues will feature impressive open prize shops, designed to blow your mind and stocked with a great variety of high-quality unique and branded prizes to reward intrepid players. Guests will need Timezone Powercards to play: regular Playtime guests will continue to be able to transfer their existing Playtime playcard credit and points to a Timezone Powercard. The in-venue teams will assist with this once the venues reopen.
The Timezone brand is going from strength to strength in Australia, with four co-branded Timezone and Zone Bowling venues opened since December 2018, and several standalone Timezone venues set to open in the backend of 2019. “People have a real desire to come together to socialise and share memories that bond us closer.” Commented Sonaal Chopra, CEO of The Entertainment and Education Group (TEEG), Asia Pacific’s leading operator of family entertainment centres, “The experiences we provide is about family, friends, fun and memories. We create safe, inviting spaces packed with the opportunity to create fond memories together – the kind that will last a lifetime. And we’re excited to bring this unique brand to the Highpoint (?) community.”
